It is also the exclusive agent under eight renowned international medical aesthetic brands, including Bicelle, BIODERMA and NeoStrata. Having several brick and mortar stores named MD Skin Solutions in town, Neo Derm also runs Neo Derm Beauty (http://www.ndbeauty.com.hk), a website selling medical aesthetic brands products online.

This year, our client plans to further expand its business. One of the visions is to attract more customers. In this age of mobile devices, people mostly spend their time on phones or tablets at hand, no matter for entertainment or business. Our client senses the need of adding new shopping channels to reach a larger group of target audience; our solution ‘Neo Derm Beauty’ is an all-round app aims to connect users to a brand new personal medical aesthetic experience day and night.

Challenge
With the current online channel, the website can hardly keep customers visiting frequently. People would only visit certain websites on purpose. In this case, customers only browse the website when they need to buy products, and their exposure to beauty products and promotional materials is very limited. As the quality guarantee of beauty products usually expires in two years after manufacturing, achieving sale target and speeding up the turnover is important.
Solution
Neo Derm is in need of app marketing since the app is highly accessible. Simply install it on their devices and icon would be created on the phone home screen, which greatly increases the chance of being tapped. Users can enjoy secure shopping on the go with ND Beauty apps on iPad, iPhone and Android.

The app is strong in function as it captures most of the important features on the website, including the membership, N Dollar Reward Programme, Hero products, latest promotions, skincare products, ND Beauty Box and shopping cart, etc.
Members’ accounts would be synchronized across mobile and web in real time. Various functions are enabled in-app, including an account summary of individual member’s profile, your favorites, purchasing record, order review, N dollar balance, inbox message and invitation code function.

Products and promotions are exposed to users. The monthly ND Beauty Box which Neo Derm Beauty places focus on is put at the prominent position in the app. Users can filter in suitable skincare products easily by selecting different product categories. Besides, the barcode reader feature is inserted to direct users to their desirable products quickly. Users can complete their payment by credit cards in-app as well.

Promotions are also brought before users. An advertisement pops up every time they open the apps. Latest promotions and news are showed as a banner on the main page and delivered to personal inbox.
